Takinoyu Hotel 

Takinoyu Hotel features a spacious outdoor hot-spring bath, karaoke and massages. Free Wi-Fi is available at the main building, and a free shuttle service is offered to/from JR Tendo Train Station and Yamagata Airport. The ryokan also has a 24-hour reception, a souvenir shop and drinks vending machines. Guests at Takinoyu can unwind in a public hot spring bath, which is separate per gender, or sit back in a free-use massage chair at the relaxing lounge. The hotel offers a complimentary tea or beer and a hot spring egg. A breakfast buffet with Western and Japanese dishes is served daily at dining room Ureshiann. Dinner consists of a Japanese meal with organic local produce. The ryokan also houses a Japanese tearoom. Hotel Takinoyu is only a 2-minute walk from the Hiroshige Museum of Art. Yamadera Temple is a 15-minute drive, and Mount Zao can be visited a 40-minute drive away. Yamagata Airport is only a 10-minute drive, while Sendai City and Sendai Airport are each a 1-hour drive. Rooms feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor with traditional futon bedding or Western beds. Some come with a sofa, while all rooms have an LCD TV, yukata robes and an en suite bathroom.
